Post 63: Commencing Operation Publish Peace Daily: Reflecting on 30+ Years of Discipleship

Embarking on Operation Publish Peace Daily after 30+ years walking with Christ. Sharing substantive matters of faith freely to stretch, challenge, and further yoke you to Christ.

Brothers and sisters in Christ,

After three decades of walking with the Lord through highs and lows, through the storms that have shaped my character, and after facing my greatest fears, I stand before you today at the precipice of a new chapter. With a heart full of gratitude for how far the Lord has brought me, I’m ready to embark on Operation Publish Peace Daily - a mission to freely share the fruits of my faith journey, that you too may taste and see that the Lord is good (Psalm 34:8).

For 30 years, Christ has been the focal point of my life. In His infinite grace, He has transformed me from a mere imitator to an emulator - one who strives not just to mimic, but to fully embody His character and accomplish even greater works in His name (John 14:12). This blog is not a testament to my own strength, but to the life-changing power available to all who abide in the True Vine (John 15:5).

As I reflect on the scriptures that have become the bedrock of my faith, I’m reminded that blessed are those who labor for Zion, not for the perishable treasures of this world (1 Nephi 13:37, 2 Nephi 26:31). My aim is to be an instrument in the hands of God, publishing peace, good tidings, and the knowledge of our Redeemer (Mosiah 27:36-37).

I invite you to join me in coming unto Christ daily, that we may be perfected in Him. As we deny ourselves of ungodliness and love God with all our might, mind, and strength, His grace will be sufficient to sanctify us and make us holy (Moroni 10:32-33). Together, let us grow from acorns into mighty oaks of righteousness, our roots ever deepening in the soil of His Word.

In the coming days, weeks, and months, I will be sharing the spiritual meat the Lord has placed on my heart - substantive matters of faith that will stretch us, challenge us, and ultimately draw us nearer to Christ. I earnestly implore your prayers and partnership in this endeavor. May we, as a community, keep our hand to the plow, not looking back, as we seek first the Kingdom of God (Luke 9:62, Matthew 6:33).

With Good Cheer,

Kent
