From Low to Lifted: Pondering Continually, One Quantum Leap at a Time

How the Lord removes our beams line upon line—clarifying our sight and preparing us to receive all that the Father has.

From Low to Lifted: Pondering Continually, One Quantum Leap at a Time

The instant my heart responded, “Let Him—I will,” surrendering earthly paths for divine trajectory over thirty years ago.

In this video, recorded October 10 and shared today (December 14, 2025), I revisit the still, small voice that invited full discipleship—and how continual pondering on heavenly things fuels greater works, multiplied talents, and ultimate oneness with God.

Before diving into the written reflection below, the video sets the stage by revisiting the original moment of surrender—when the Lord first invited me to place my entire trajectory in His hands.

Hello, friends on the journey from low to lifted.

The video above (trimmed to under nine minutes) revisits a defining moment decades ago: sitting in a meeting as a prophet spoke about turning one’s life over to the Lord, I felt a whisper cut straight through:

“Why don’t you let Him?”

Two futures appeared instantly—
one full of worldly success—predictable, lucrative, self-directed;
the other unknown, luminous, and wholly divine.

My soul answered without hesitation:

Let Him.
I will.

That surrender ignited a lifelong pattern of continual pondering—the Nephi pattern of searching the revelations of the Lord, the Helaman pattern of steadfast humility, and the Abrahamic pattern of trusting God enough to walk into the unseen.

It is a call to vertical focus: an eye single to the glory of God, multiplying talents faithfully until we receive all that He has and become lights who lift others toward exaltation and worlds without number.

The deeper layer—and the build-in-public refinement unfolding now—connects to a recent exchange with a beloved former professor who helped awaken my love of serious learning two decades ago.

Continual pondering on heavenly revelations—elevating us toward oneness with Christ.

Pondering my last visit with him reminded me of the exquisite reality: as you come unto Christ, removing one beam grants further light—and that new light reveals the next beam that must be removed.

This is not punishment.
This is not flaw.
This is the refiners fire—tender preparation for glory.

The adversary’s buffetings are permitted not to condemn us, but to purge fear, illusion, and inherited lies about our worth until we know—in the marrow—how perfectly loved, held, and watched over we already are.

And when that knowing finally breaks through, healing flows abundantly—often suddenly—accompanied by deeper joy and deeper humility.

Each mastery—each beam removed—prepares us for every good thing… unto receiving all that God has: His character, His perfections, His attributes, His inheritance.

Line upon line in the refiners fire—beams removed, light increased, oneness with Christ deepened.

This individualized plan is not merely about salvation—already secure through Christ.
It is about exaltation, orchestrated with flawless precision.

I’ve always loved President Kimball’s response when urged by doctors and fellow apostles to slow down “for his health”:

“My friends, it feels like you’re trying to save me… but I don’t want to be saved. I want to be exalted.”

Some of you feel that same holy restlessness—the refusal to settle for anything less than everything the Father desires to give.

Prepared through refinement to become one with Him—and receive every good thing unto all the Father hath.

This platform exists to capture the climb openly:
the leaps, the ponderings, the gentle beam-by-beam sanctification—
so we can witness, together, how the Lord lifts us hour by hour,
preparing us to lift others fully in His name.

Are you ready for greater works?
Ponder vertically.
Come into the fire.
Let Him prepare you to receive all that the Father has.

Greater works through multiplied talents—lights lifting toward exaltation and worlds without number.

Have a beautiful, lifted day.

With love in Christ,
Kent
