Good and Honorable in the Boat…

or Valiant in Christ—Walking Hand in Hand in a Celestial Marriage

Good and Honorable in the Boat…

“Risen in Christ with your spouse, you build heaven at home and lift those placed before you.”

Thanks for putting us in, Coach.

Lifted by Christ,
we now lift others—
one family at a time.

(The Poem)

You know the feeling.
The tug.
The ache.
The whisper that says,
“There’s more to you than this.”

More than surviving.
More than grinding.
More than going through the motions
and calling it life.

Christ doesn’t just forgive you—
He raises you.
He pulls you out of the water
you were sinking in,
sets your feet on light,
and says,
“Do greater works than Me.”

He doesn’t lift you to shame you,
nor to say He’s better than you.
He lifts you because
He knows what’s inside you.

He sees the strength you’ve not known.
He sees the heaven you’re meant to build.
He sees Father’s kingdom coming—
but you’ve been too tired to imagine it.

Rise with Him,
and the world stops pulling you under.
Rise with Him,
and the battles inside you break.
Rise with Him,
and the natural man’s voice is subdued.
Rise with Him,
and your heart learns how to run again.

Because man isn’t meant to rise alone,
and woman isn’t meant to carry the world alone.
But together—
twined in Christ—
you become more than you ever were apart.
Not just good,
but godly.
Not just healed,
but wholly united.
Not just lifted,
but able to lift the world.

And here’s the part
nobody told you:

When you rise in Christ,
you don’t just become better—
you move from good and honorable
to holy without spot.

Holy enough to work miracles.
Holy enough to love one another.
Holy enough to forgive as forgiven.
Holy enough to be filled with light
until darkness has no place in you.

You rise in Him,
to lift another.
You are healed,
so someone else can heal.
You break through,
so someone else can break free.

This is how heaven grows:
one heart lifted,
one home lit,
one life touched
by someone who finally said yes to Him.

And now the question—
the only one that matters:

Will you stay in the boat,
or will you rise with Christ
and lift the world
one family at a time?
Not just healed,
but whole.
Not just lifted,
but able to lift the world.

And here’s the part
nobody told you:

When you rise in Christ,
you don’t just become better—
you become whole.

Whole enough to stand.
Whole enough to love.
Whole enough to forgive.
Whole enough to build a home
that turns darkness into dawn.

You rise,
so someone else can rise.
You heal,
so someone else can heal.
You break through,
so someone else can break free.

This is how heaven grows:
one heart lifted,
one home lit,
one life touched
by someone who finally said yes to Him.

And now the question—
the only one that matters:

Will you stay in the boat,
or will you rise with Christ
and lift the world
one family at a time?

“If this stirred you, share it with someone who needs a lifting hand today.”
